The third Bridegroom Service took place on Holy Tuesday evening at the Church of the Annunciation in West Perth, and was Presided over by Bishop Elpidios of Perth.
In his sermon, Bishop Elpidios gave a brief explanation on the Hymn of Kassiani which is a highly anticipated piece, often considered the most beautiful of all hymns, about the sinful woman who anointed Jesus’ feet before His passion.
Bishop Elpidios expressed his heartfelt thanks to the parish chanters for their reverent and deeply moving rendition of the Hymn of Kassiani.
