In an atmosphere of deep emotion, the clergy and people of Thesprotia bid farewell to their shepherd of 50 years at the Cathedral of Saint Donatus in Paramythia.
Metropolitan Serapion of Paramythia presided over the Divine Liturgy, followed by the funeral service for the late Metropolitan Tito of Paramythia.
In attendance were Metropolitan Nektarios of Kerkyra, Tiotheos of Thessalotida, and Maximos of Ioannina.
The burial took place at the Women’s Monastery of Saint Paraskevi in Punta, where the late Hierarch had resided after resigning in August 2023 due to health reasons.
