On Friday evening of Bright Week, the youth of the Archdiocesan District of Northcote continued their Paschal celebrations by hosting a Greek Tavern Night.
The gathering was held at the Function Centre of the Church of the Presentation of the Lord in Coburg “The Coburg on Victoria”, having over 120 young adults attended.
Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta attended the event on behalf of Archbishop Makarios of Australia and conveyed to all the youth the Archbishop’s paternal blessings.
Bishop Evmenios in His short address reminded all the youth that the Church is and will always be by their side to offer them support and it is the place that welcomes all of them and fits everyone without any criteria.
The Bishop also announced other forthcoming initiatives to be organized for them throughout the year.
