With great splendor, the Sunday of Orthodoxy was celebrated at the Holy Church of Saint Stephen in the namesake community, under the jurisdiction of the Holy Metropolis of Derkoi.
On the morning of Sunday, March 9, 2025, a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was officiated by Elder Metropolitan Apostolos of Derkoi.
Following the Divine Liturgy, a Solemn Hierarchical Memorial Service was held for the repose of the souls of all pious and Orthodox Christians who fought and gave their lives for the Orthodox faith. This was followed by the procession of the Holy Icons.
