At the Holy Patriarchal Skete of Saint Spyridon in Chalki, the care of which has been entrusted to the Theological School of Halki, on Thursday, 13 July 2023, the miracle of Saint Spyridon who gave sight to the blind man named Theodore, was celebrated, with the celebration of the festive Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, presided over by the Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos.
Present also for the feast day celebrations were Archimandrite Porphyrios Prodromitis, Abbot of the Holy Monastery of Saint John the Baptist and Forerunner, also known as the Skete of Veria, with members of the related brotherhood, the President of the Community of Saint Nikolaos, Halki, Ms. Olympia Panagiotidou, as well as numerous pilgrims from the Princes’ Islands and Constantinople.
