On February 23, Clean Monday, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem went to the Holy Church of the Saints, Equal-to-the-Apostles Constantine and Helen, and presided from the throne, holding the pastoral staff, at the Service of the Great Compline with the chanting of the Great Canon.
On the first Wednesday of the Holy and Great Lent, February 25, 2026, the first Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts was celebrated at the Patriarchal and Monastic Church of Saints Constantine and Helen, with Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem presiding, and with the Hierarchs and other Fathers of the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood in prayer, together with the students of the Patriarchal School of Zion and pilgrims. The chanting was led by the chief cantor of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Deacon Efstathios, along with the students of the School.
The Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts was likewise celebrated at the Horrendous Golgotha by the Elder Sacristan, Archbishop Isidoros of Hierapolis, with nuns and a large number of pilgrims participating in prayer.
