On Thursday, 13 February 2025, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, welcomed Archbishop Rostislav of Prešov and Metropolitan of All Czechia and Slovakia, with brotherly love to the Phanar, who was accompanied by Metropolitan George of Michalovce and Kassovia, Bishop Isaiah of Olomouc and Brno, Father Raphael Moravský, and his associate Iveta Apostu.
In their private meeting, they had the opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest.
Also present were, Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, President of the Synodal Committee on Inter-Orthodox Issues, The Grand Ecclesiarch Archimandrite Aetios, Director of the Personal Patriarchal Office, and Patriarchal Deacon Oikoumenios, Undersecretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod.
In the evening, Archbishop Rostislav and his honorable entourage attended a formal dinner hosted by the Mother Church in their honor.
