The Archdiocese of Latakia and its dependencies welcomed Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East, and his accompanying delegation.
Metropolitan Athanasios (Fahd) of Latakia and its dependencies came forth to welcome Patriarch John X at the episcopal residence in the presence of Metropolitan Ephraim (Maalouli) of Aleppo and its dependencies, with a group of priests of the archdiocese, members of the parish council, and a number of faithful.
This visit to Latakia comes prior to the Patriarch’s departure with the delegation to the Turkish border, for a pastoral visit to the faithful of the Antiochian Church in Antioch, Hatay, and Mersin. The visit includes the consecration of Archimandrite Paul Orduluoğlu as bishop.
