The enthronement of the new Metropolitan Klimis of Peristeri in the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Annunciation of Theotokos was held with pomp and circumstance on Thursday, April 18.
Regional Governor of Attica, Rena Dourou welcomed the new Metropolitan of Peristeri.
Then the clergy and people welcomed the new Metropolitan of Peristeri in Loutra square, where Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece gave him the crosier.
Then the procession went at the entrance of the Town Hall, where Mayor Andreas Pachatouridis addressed the Metropolitan of Peristeri.
Thereafter, the new Metropolitan, accompanied by the procession, headed to the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Annunciation, where the enthronement took place in the presence of Hierarchs, clerics, local authorities, and dozens of faithful.
