The newly appointed Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Constantinople, Dr. Regine Grienberger visited today, Monday, February 3, 2025, the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Dr. Grienberger was warmly received by the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and they engaged in a lengthy and cordial discussion.
Also present at the meeting were Mr. Sammy Düsdieker, a senior official at the Consulate General, and Deacon Mr. Oikoumenios, Secretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod, along with Professor Mr. Konstantinos Delikostantis, Director of the First Patriarchal Office, both of whom have received further education in Germany.
