The new Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ankara, Ms. Sibylle Katharina Sorg, visited the headquarters of the Ecumenical Patriarchate today, Friday, January 10, 2025, on the occasion of her recent assumption of duties.
Ms. Sorg was warmly received by His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, with whom she had the opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest. Present at the meeting were Deacon Oikoumenios, Secretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod, and Mr. Constantinos Delikostantis, Professor Emeritus and Director of the First Patriarchal Office, both graduates of German universities.
