On Sunday, January 19, 2025, the Mayor of the Princes’ Islands, Ali Ercan Akpolat, visited the Halki School of Theology. He attended the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy in the Holy Trinity Cathedral and was then warmly received by the Abbot, Bishop Cassianos of Aravisos, with whom he held a meeting in a cordial atmosphere.
Following the meeting, the Mayor and his associates, accompanied by the Abbot, toured the section of the building currently under renovation. The Mayor observed the ongoing works and was briefed by the responsible contractors.
