Today’s (14-12-2020) Divine Liturgy, that took place at the Metochi of Apostle Andrew in Galata of Constantinople, which the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew (in memory of the Saint according to the Julian calendar) officiated, was attended by the handball team of Anorthosis Famagusta.

Their visit was a pilgrimage before going to the airport to return to Cyprus.

The Ecumenical Patriarch expressed his special joy for the presence of the team of Anorthosis in Constantinople, wished them to have the blessing of the Apostle Andreas and asked the members of the team to convey to Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus the love of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and himself.
