On the evening of Friday, August 1, 2025, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presided over the celebration of the First Supplicatory Canon to the Most Holy Theotokos in the presence of many faithful who joined in prayer.
Earlier that day, on the Feast of Saint Solomoni, whose sacred relic is kept in the Most Venerable Patriarchal Church, Metropolitan Irineos of Myriophyton and Peristasis celebrated a Divine Liturgy.
In attendance were Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Myra, Metropolitan Joachim of Prussa, and numerous faithful from Constantinople and abroad.
On the eve of the feast, Metropolitan Irineos presided over the Great Vespers of the celebration.
