On Friday, March 7, 2025, from the Parathronium in the Patriarchal Church, the Ecumenical Patriarch presided over the First Stasis of the Salutations to the Most Holy Mother of God.
Joining in prayer were Hierarchs, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, led by the President of their Brotherhood “Panagia the Pamakaristos,” Archon Exarchos Athanasios Martinos, the Consul of Greece, Theophilos Georgakis, representing the Consul General, as well as a large number of faithful from the City and pilgrims from abroad. Among them were many students and their teachers from various schools in Greece.
The Divine Word was preached by Archimandrite Kaissarios Chronis, Archivist of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Earlier that morning, the Ecumenical Patriarch presided over the Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Holy Gifts.
