Presided over by Metropolitan Andreas of Saranta Ekklisies, Supervisor of the Holy Theological School, the festive Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy were celebrated today, Sunday, August 31, 2025, in the Chapel of the Holy Trinity, marking the Feast of the Synaxis of the Panagia Pausolypi (Our Lady, Reliever of Sorrows). The sacred and wonderworking Byzantine icon of the Panagia Pausolyppi is treasured in this chapel.
Faithful from the Princes’ Islands, Constantinople, and a group of pilgrims from Cyprus attended the service.
On the eve of the feast, Great Vespers was celebrated, officiated by Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, Abbot of the School.
