The Church of the Assumption of the Most Holy Mother of God in Cajnice, in which the miraculous icon of the Most Holy Mother of God “the Cajnice Krasnica” is being kept, solemnly and magnificently celebrated its saint patron feast-day.
In the year of the Lord’s mercy, in 2020, the Metropolitan of Dabar-Bosnia Hrisostom came to Cajnice on this great feast-day for the first time to celebrate the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy. Archpriests staurophores Momir Vasiljevic and Andrej Hughes from the USA (Patriarchate of Antioch), Archpriest Nikola Kovac, Archpriest Ljubomir Prijovic, Priests Damjan Radovic and Milos Janjic, as well as Deacons Budimir Gardovic and Vjekoslav Jovanovic concelebrated.
During the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy the Metropolitan ordained Deacon Vjekoslav Jovanovic, teacher at the Orthodox Theological Seminary in Foca (Republic of Srpska), as presbyter.
The Metropolitan delivered a sermon.
