On Thursday, November 11, 2021, Metropolitan Athenagoras of Belgium presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Parish of Saints Silouan the Athonite and Martin of Tours in the Municipality of St. Gilles of Brussels.
After the reading of the Holy Gospel, Metropolitan Athenagoras analyzed the doctrines of the evangelical passage and spoke about the celebrating saint.
Before the completion of the Service, Metropolitan Athenagoras congratulated the priest and deacon of the Parish for the work they perform and thanked the co-officiating presbyters and deacons headed by the Protosyncellus Fr. Philadelphos Kafalis. Metropolitan Athenagoras thanked also Bishop Joachim of Apollonia, Assistant Bishop of the Holy Metropolis, who attended the service.
