The Holy Monastery of Hilandar on Mount Athos solemnly celebrated the sacred memory of Saint Stefan Uroš II Milutin, King of Serbia, with prayer.
Bishop Jerotej of Šabac presided over the festive all-night vigil in the Hilandar Katholikon, joined by Archimandrite Methodius, Abbot of the Monastery of Hilandar; the monastic brotherhood; the hieromonks, clergy, and deacons.
Numerous pilgrims from Serbia and other countries attended the monastery’s celebration. The monks of Hilandar and the choir “Saint Simeon the Myrrh-Streamer” contributed to the beauty of the service.
After the Divine Liturgy concluded, Bishop Jerotej blessed the festal offerings. Then, a ceremonial meal was served to everyone present.
