Focusing on the significant Feast of Pentecost, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will preside over Great Vespers on Saturday, June 7, at 4:00 p.m. in the historic Patriarchal Church at the Phanar.
The following day, Sunday, June 8, the feast itself, the Patriarch will lead the Divine Liturgy, joined by hierarchs of the Mother Church who are currently in Constantinople.
After the liturgy concludes, the Vespers of the Holy Spirit will be celebrated. During this service, the traditional Kneeling Prayers will be read following the Orthodox Church’s long-standing liturgical tradition.
