The Ecumenical Patriarch will not attend the World Economic Forum in Davos

As has happened many times in the past, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew was once again invited this year to the World Economic Forum in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland.

This year’s theme was “Spirit of Dialogue.” However, due to prior commitments at his Patriarchal See, he was unable to participate in this significant international event.

The Ecumenical Patriarch hopes that the meeting, which brings together leading figures from politics, business, intellectual life, and international organizations, will be fruitful. In accordance with this year’s theme, he hopes that it will contribute to mutual understanding, cooperation, and peace worldwide.

Translated by Ioanna Georgakopoulou
