Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will hold an official visit to the Metropolis of Sweden and All Scandinavia in Stockholm in autumn.
In a relevant announcement, Patriarch Bartholomew will officially visit the seat of the Holy Metropolis in Stockholm from 28 September to 1 October of the current year.
The visit will take place on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Metropolis of Sweden.

ECUMENICAL PATRIARCH BARTHOLOMEW TO VISIT STOCKHOLM
It is with great joy that we inform our faithful Christian flock in Scandinavia, as well as the friends and supporters of the Holy Metropolis of Sweden and All Scandinavia, that His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will conduct an official visit to the see of our Holy Metropolis in Stockholm from September 28 – October 1, 2019 to celebrate the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of the Holy Metropolis of Sweden.
Details regarding the itinerary of His All-Holiness will be forthcoming. We invite everyone to participate in the aforementioned celebrations and welcome the Spiritual Leader of the Orthodox Church.
The Ecumenical Patriarch’s letter to His Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden announcing his decision to grace the celebrations of the Holy Metropolis’ golden jubilee with his presence follows below:

Your Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia, most honorable exarch of the Northern Lands, beloved brother in the Holy Spirit and concelebrant of our Humility, grace be with Your Eminence and peace from God.
Having received and assessed the content in Your beloved Eminence’s letters of January 17 of this year and August 28 of last year inviting our Humility to visit your Holy Metropolis to preside over the celebrations for the anniversary of its fifty years of establishment, we inform you, in response, that gladly accepting this fraternal invitation, we will come there between September 28 and October 1 of this year for the aforementioned purpose.
Moreover, thanking you warmly and awaiting to meet and interact with your Eminence and your devout flock, we encourage you to readily instruct the departments you oversee to send a detailed itinerary of our visit there for timely preparation, and pray that the grace and infinite mercy of God be upon you.
