Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew left for Constantinople on Thursday, November 25, in the afternoon, concluding his official visit to Greece.
The Ecumenical Patriarch was accompanied at the airport by the Greek government, Deputy Foreign Minister Andreas Katsaniotis.
In fact, in a post on social media, Katsaniotis characteristically stated that “It was an honor for me to accompany the Ecumenical Patriarch on his departure from Greece, after the end of his visit to Athens. I look forward to our next meeting in Constantinople, where I will attend the Thronal Feast of the Ecumenical Patriarchate”.
