Consistently supporting the initiatives of the Greek community of Constantinople, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew attended the concert of Greek artist Konstantinos Argyros on the evening of July 9, 2025, at an open-air theater in the Taksim area.
The concert was organized as part of the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Zappeion School of Constantinople, and some of the proceeds will be donated to the historic Greek educational institution.
Notably, the Ecumenical Patriarch received the Greek artist at the Phanar in May, accompanied by members of the school’s board of trustees and other community leaders who contributed to the event’s success.
