Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East celebrated the Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Exaltation of the Life-Giving Cross at the Holy Cross Church in Qassaa, in the presence of the Greek Ambassador to Damascus, Emmanuel Kakavelakis.
Concelebrating alongside the Patriarch were Bishops Romanos (Al Hannat), Youhanna (Batash), Arsanios (Dahdal), and Mousa (Al Khasi), as well as Archimandrite Philip Vasiltsev, representative of the Russian Patriarch to the Patriarch of Antioch, along with many priests and deacons.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, a procession with the Holy Cross was held.
