The Holy Archdiocese of Australia announced the ordinations of the new Bishops, who were elected at the last meeting of the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, taking into account the strict measures to combat the pandemic, will be the following:
- On Saturday, November 13, the ordination of Bishop-Elect Kyriakos of Sozopol.
- On Sunday, November 14, the ordination of Bishop-Elect Christodoulos of Magnesia.
- On Saturday, November 20, the ordination of Bishop-Elect Evmenios of Kerasous.
- On Sunday, November 21, the ordination of Bishop-Elect Prochoros of Charioupolis.
The Service of the Formal Election Announcement (Mega Minima) of the four elected Bishops will take place on Friday, November 12, before Vespers, at 5.00 pm.
Both the Formal Election Announcement (Mega Minima) and the ordination of the hierarchs will be performed at the Holy Cathedral of the Annunciation in Sydney. The episcopal ordinations will be performed by Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
