For the second academic year, the lessons of the Center of Greek Language and Culture, of the Holy Metropolis of Aksum, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, started today, October 12, 2021.
Classes for adult Ethiopians are offered voluntarily by the teacher nun Styliani.
The purpose of the Center is to highlight the fundamental role that the Greek language has played over the centuries, contributing substantially to the consolidation of both European and world culture.
It is also announced that new learning teams will soon be formed, in collaboration with the Department of Humanities, Linguistics, Journalism and Communication (College of Humanities, Language Studies, Journalism and Communication) of Ethiopia’s largest higher education institution, the University of Addis Ababa (AAU).
