Smiling, calm, with a good clinical picture and appetite for food, Archbishop Eirinaios of Crete remains at the Neurological Clinic of PAGNI, who in fact gladly accepted the visit of the Archbishop of Australia as reported by patris.gr.
The Archbishop of Crete receives few visits due to the pandemic, however, he is informed by the people of the Archdiocese about the great interest of the laity and clergy to learn the latest news about the course of his health.
“When the doctors decide that they are ready to discharge the Archbishop, he will be able to return to his place in the Archdiocese,” said the hospital administrator Chalkiadakis, who even commented that he has an appetite for food. “He asked to eat and the man from the Archdiocese who is by his side told us that for the first time in 17 years he heard the austere Archbishop say that he was hungry and that he would like to eat.”
His room is already being properly prepared in the Archdiocese, so that he can return to the place where he will remain with proper care, when he leaves the hospital.
