On Holy Thursday, on behalf of the Archbishop Makarios of Australia, Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta paid a visit to “Agapi Care Inc” Foundation of Melbourne that cares for people with special needs, and offered them Easter candles for the feast of the Resurrection on behalf of the Archdiocese of Australia.
The emotion was great, as were the smiles of the residents when they received their Paschal Candle.
Three days before the feast of Pascha, the Bishop chanted “Christ is Risen” with the residents, bringing joy to their souls.
The Bishop congratulated, on behalf of the Archbishop Makarios of Australia, the director of the Foundation, Mrs. Mary Gakopoulou, and all the staff for the sacred service they perform.
Finally, the Bishop wished them health, and of course, conveyed the prayers and blessings of the Archbishop Makarios for the Easter period.
