A meeting was held yesterday at the White House between Archbishop Elpidophoros of America and the American President, Donald Trump who received the Archbishop in the Oval Office.
The meeting was attended by US Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of Health Alex Azar and the Vicar General of the Holy Archdiocese of America, Alexander Karloutsos.
Referring to the visit of Archbishop Elidophoros to Washington, US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt commented on Twitter that it is “a very big week for U.S.-Greece relations.”
