On Friday before Palm Sunday, April 11, 2025, the Theological School of Halki hosted a student conference dedicated to the work of Professor Aristeidis Pasadaios, under the theme: “The Theological School of Halki and the Monuments of Constantinople through the Work of Professor Aristeidis Pasadaios.”
The Abbot of the School, Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos, delivered the opening address, during which he referred to the life and scholarly contributions of the honored professor.
This was followed by greetings from Dimitra Vourdoglou, Acting Education Coordinator for the Greek Community Schools of Constantinople, and representatives of the co-organizing institutions.
The conference was the result of a consistent collaboration between the School and the Patriarchal Institute for Patristic Studies. Student presentations focused on various Byzantine and post-Byzantine monuments of Constantinople, drawing inspiration from Professor Pasadaios’s work. The students showcased their outstanding projects using modern technology, followed by a roundtable discussion.
The event was moderated by Ioanna Kliari, Head of Educational Programs at the Patriarchal Institute for Patristic Studies.
