The Archbishop Eirinaios of Crete has been hospitalized in the Neurological Clinic of the hospital since yesterday with his health condition being improved.
As reported by creta24.gr, the Archdiocese of Crete issued a statement on the course of his health, which emphasizes that his doctors have prohibited visits, while call on the faithful to pray for the health of the Archbishop.

“The Holy Archdiocese of Crete, praises the Lord and announces that the Archbishop Eirinaios of Crete was discharged yesterday, October 6, from the Intensive Care Unit of PAGNI and was transferred to a treatment room of the Neurological Clinic.
The state of health of the Archbishop is stable but fragile and for this reason all kinds of visits are prohibited by the treating doctors.
At the same time, we call on all pious Christians to pray for the health of our Most Reverend Shepherd.”
