St. Iakovos Tsalikis named new Patron Saint of the Metropolis of New Jersey

St. Iakovos Tsalikis named new Patron Saint of the Metropolis of New Jersey

According to an announcement by Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey, Saint Iakovos Tsalikis has been established as the new Patron Saint of the Holy Metropolis of New Jersey.

In a statement released last week, the Metropolitan also outlined the schedule of events for the inaugural celebration of the Patron Saint’s feast day, which will be held at the Chapel of Saint John Chrysostom, located at the Metropolis headquarters in Westfield, New Jersey.

The festivities will begin with the Great Festal Archieratical Vespers on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 6:00 PM.

On Friday, November 22, 2024, the day of the feast, Matins and the Archieratical Divine Liturgy will be celebrated, beginning at 9:00 AM.
