In the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt, not far away from the Saint Catherine’s Monastery, during the 5th World Peace Forum, the Greek Female High School of Florina put on a traditional dance and music event, which attended a number of governmental ministers, ambassadors and high profile figures.
The Forum was organised by the South Sinai Governor, Khaled Fouda, under the aegis of the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
A special feature was published by the Egyptian press on the event, which was also broadcasted by the state television.
Short before their departure to Greece, a 20-member committee thanked Archbishop Damianos of Sinai and the Consultant of the Holy Monastery, Antonis Kazamias, for their contribution and participation in this great event.
