On Sunday, November 3, 2024, a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Holy Metropolitan Church of Saint Paraskevi in Therapeia, commemorating the translation of the Holy Relics of Saint George the Great Martyr and Trophy-bearer, as well as the miraculous saving of Therapeia from a devastating fire through the Saint’s intervention. The service included the blessing of the five loaves (Artoklasia) and was presided over by Bishop Paisios of Xanthoupolis.
Following the Divine Liturgy, a procession of the Holy Icon of Saint George took place around the church, and a festive reception was held in celebration of the feast day.
