The “Ohi Day” was solemnly celebrated in the Metropolis of Ireland, with Michael Karambalis, the Deputy Head of the Greek Embassy in Dublin, in attendance.
Following the service, a reception was held in honor of Metropolitan Iakovos’ upcoming name day. The Metropolitan warmly received members of his flock before departing for the Holy Synod meeting at the Ecumenical Patriarchate the next day. The celebration was held earlier to accommodate his travel plans.
