Six nuns from a specific monastery in the province of Larnaca are being admitted to the General Hospital of Larnaca, after having tested positive for the coronavirus.
As the spokesperson for Cypriot State Health Services Organization Charalambos Charilaou told CNA, “There is a series of cases from a specific monastery. Specifically, six nuns positive for the coronavirus, who have not been vaccinated, are being treated at the Larnaca General Hospital.”
He added that “three priests are being treated at the Limassol General Hospital, who have also not been vaccinated.”
Answering a relevant question, Charilaou said the condition of all 117 patients who were hospitalized was “serious.”
