Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa presided over the sacrament of the Holy Unction, on the evening of Holy Wednesday, at the patriarchal church of Saint Savvas the Sanctified.
The Bishops Theodoros of Babylon, Germanos of Tamiathus, and the holy clergy attended the service.
In the church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary of the Greek Community of Alexandria, the sacrament of the Holy Unction was performed by the Chief Secretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, Archimandrite Fr. Nikodimos Totkas.
