The Serbian Patriarchate informs the faithful that the website of the Information Service of the Serbian Orthodox Church (https://spc.rs/) is currently under a significant hacker attack. While attacks on the church’s primary news platform are not uncommon, particularly during major Orthodox holidays, this current assault is notably more intense and originates from multiple sources.
Until the church and public services can successfully counter these attacks and restore the official website (https://spc.rs/), we inform the public that all current and important information will be disseminated through the official Facebook page of His Holiness the Patriarch “Patriarch Serbian Porfirije” (https://www.facebook.com/patrijarhporfirije) and the official “X” account of the Information Service of the Serbian Orthodox Church (https://x.com/infosluzbaspc?s=21).
We assure the faithful that all relevant church and state authorities have been notified of the hacker attack. They are taking all necessary measures within their jurisdiction to ensure that the official communications of the Serbian Orthodox Church can be published again as soon as possible.
