On Sunday evening, March 30, 2025, Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia, accompanied by members of his ecclesiastical delegation, departed for an official visit to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem and Patriarch Theophilos III.
During his stay in the Holy Land, Patriarch Porfirije will venerate the most sacred Christian sites, including the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, the Monastery of Saint Sabbas the Sanctified, and the Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem (the Holy Sepulchre), where he is scheduled to co-celebrate the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts with Patriarch Theophilos III. The visit will also include meetings and discussions between the two Church leaders.
