Sessions of the Holy Synod of Bishops and the Patriarchal Administrative Board of the Serbian Orthodox Church were held on March 5, 2026, at the headquarters of the Eparchy of Zvornik–Tuzla in Bijeljina.
The host of the meetings, Metropolitan Fotije of Zvornik and Tuzla, a member of the Holy Synod, warmly welcomed Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia along with the Synod members: Metropolitan Irinej of Bačka, Metropolitan Teodosije of Raška and Prizren, and Metropolitan Metodije of Budimlja and Nikšić.
Also participating in the sessions were Metropolitan Arsenije of Niš, Archimandrite Nektarije, Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod, and Archimandrite Danilo, Director of the Patriarchal Administrative Office.
The meetings were chaired by Patriarch Porfirije, during which current matters concerning the life and mission of the Serbian Orthodox Church were discussed.
