The Metropolis of Belgium recommends the faithful to attend the Divine Liturgy of the Second Sunday of the Great Lent by watching a video from the Divine Liturgy which took place on the Second Sunday of Great Lent in 2015 at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Gregory Palamas in Thessaloniki.
“Since all humankind and all the faithful of our Orthodox Church are going through difficult times, it was necessary to make important decisions for the protection of public health.
For this reason, all liturgies are suspended until Friday, April 3,” the Metropolis recalls.
“For this reason we recommend the faithful to watch the following video from the Divine Liturgy, which took place on the Second Sunday of the Great Lent in 2015 at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Gregory Palamas in Thessaloniki, thus bringing comfort to us for our physical impossibility of being present in our churches,” says the Metropolis.
