The second part of the international conference marking the 100th anniversary of the “Life and Work” movement resumed today, May 19, 2025, in Athens.
Organized by the Church of Greece in cooperation with the Commission of the Churches on International Affairs (CCIA) of the World Council of Churches (WCC), the event brings together church leaders, theologians, and experts from around the world to reflect on the legacy and contemporary relevance of the movement.
The morning session opened with speeches by Evangelical Lutheran Bishop Jonas Jonson of the Church of Sweden and Professor Miltiadis Sariyannidis, Professor of International Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
