At the beginning of the new liturgical year, the Metropolis of Belgium will establish and open the School of Byzantine Music, which is named after Saint Ilarios, Bishop of Piktava.
Students will be offered various courses such as theory and practice of Byzantine Music, Typikon, ecclesiastical history and solfège. They will also have the opportunity to participate in various events of the School, as well as to gain the necessary experience for the analogion.
Metropolitan Athenagoras of Belgium will bless the opening of the school of Byzantine Music at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel in Brussels on Wednesday, October 14 at 19:00.
