The Russian Church is already mobilizing its supporters, in order to create problems during the visit of the Ecumenical Patriarch in Kyiv.
As soon as it became known that His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew is arriving at the Ukrainian capital tonight and not tomorrow, the “officials” of the Russian Church in Ukraine and the “organization of believers” “Miriani”, instructed parishioners and other people, to gather along the National Road Borispil – Kiev, where in a few hours the motorcade carrying the Ecumenical Patriarch, will pass.
These people hold banners with slogans against Bartholomew’s visit. As has been pointed out by the Ukrainian media, many of these individuals were paid to protest against the visit of the Ecumenical Patriarch.
The Russian Church in Ukraine is making efforts to learn details of Bartholomew’s visit to Kiev in order to send “outraged believers” to as many places as possible.
