The Romanian Patriarchate has expressed deep sorrow following the tragic fire in Brussels that claimed the life of a Romanian citizen and left another seriously injured.
In an official message, the Patriarchate offered prayers for the victims and their families, calling upon the mercy of God during this difficult time.
“We pray to our Lord Jesus Christ to grant rest to the soul of the deceased, to bestow a speedy recovery upon the injured person, and to offer comfort and spiritual consolation to the grieving family and to all those affected by this tragedy,” the statement said.
The Romanian Patriarchate also conveyed its compassion and solidarity with the families of the victims, entrusting them to God’s loving mercy.
“In these moments of pain, the Romanian Patriarchate expresses its compassion and solidarity with the victims’ families, commending them to the mercy of God,” the statement concluded.
