The first of the seven social houses built by Onești Deanery was inaugurated on Thursday in the Mănăstirea Cașin village, Bacău county. The house was blessed and formally offered to a needy family. Six more social houses will follow within the same social project.
“Anastasia House is the first to have been finalized within the “Joy House” Project. It was built in only seven months and it cost 16,000 Euros. The land was offered by the Local Council. The house is fully furnished and equipped with furniture and appliances.
The family shall use it for an indefinite period, provided all the children are cared for and schooled, announced Oneşti Deanery on its Facebook page.
“This house joyfully welcomes a family with seven children. The eighth one is on its way. It has been offered to the family on two conditions: to care for and educate all their children. We shall continue to help them on that purpose”, said Dean Ioan Bârgăoanu, who officiated the house blessing.
The house was built by the Onești Deanery, the “Annunciation – Mănăstirea Cașin” Parish, Mănăstirea Cașin Parish, the Patmos – Onești Association and the Suroti Association.
The “Joy House” Project is implemented in the Onești Deanery of the Archdiocese of Roman and Bacău through the eparchial Social Assistance Sector. The deanery has set the goal of building and furnishing seven social houses in total, so it can help the large families in need.
