A delegation of the Church of Rome visits the Ecumenical Patriarchate to attend the celebration of the memory of the founder of St. Andrew the Apostle.
The delegation, led by Cardinal Curt Koch, was received by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
The meeting, held in a cordial atmosphere, was attended by Metropolitan Elder John of Pergamon, Archbishop Job of Telmessos, the Orthodox Co-Chair of the Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue Between the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church, and Archimandrite Agathangelos Siskos. They discussed the life of the two Churches and their testimony in the modern world.
