Racial Reconciliation: New Interviews & Resources

The Department of Inter-Orthodox, Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations has produced three new episodes of its miniseries “A Conversation on Racial Reconciliation,” with Archdeacon John Chryssavgis. The new interviews aim to contribute to the ongoing conversation, in the Church and across the nation, on racism and offer a resource center.

In these new episodes, Archdeacon John Chryssavgis speaks with:

Episode 7: Metropolitan Alexander of Nigeria, Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria, Rev. Nathaniel Johnson, Saint Lawrence Orthodox Christian Church, in Felton, CA, and Nun Katherine Weston, Superior of St. Xenia Metochion Monastery in Indianapolis IN

Episode 8: Rev. Paul Abernathy, CEO of Neighborhood Resilience Project, Dorothy J. Berry, Digital Collections Program Manager, Houghton Library, Harvard University, Dr. Frances Kostarelos, Full Professor at Governor’s State University, and Dr. Carla Thomas, Chief of Staff at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital

Episode 9: Bishop Emilio Alavrez, Union of Charismatic Orthodox Churches, Dr. Michael Glerup, Executive Director of Project on Religious Freedom and Society in Africa and Center for Early African Christianity, Rev.
