Today afternoon, May 8, 2019, the celebrations in the memory of St. John the Theologian at the homonymous church of Nea Sepolia were concluded.
Metropolitan Klimis of Peristeri officiated at the Vespers ceremony, and then the procession of the Holy icon of St. John the Theologian took place.
The Metropolitan of Peristeri was accompanied by the Protosyncellus of the Holy Metropolis of Messinia, Archimandrite Philippos of Hamargia, and the Chief of the church, Archimandrite Cherubim Mestousis.
The Mayor of Peristeri, Andreas Pachatouridis, the Deputy Mayors and members of the Municipal Council also attended the procession.
